(1432) Brief look at some items. Afternoon all. Storm … seems to have largely avoided here, being on the leeside of a hill … certain some, a bit of rain, more rain coming. (1454)

In amongst the constant spamming here, this one appeared … not an author I recognise but have saved a screenshot … thought the url might be interesting if I can find a secure way to access … suggest you don’t yet until I find out and I’m certainly not typing it in.

12. Taxpayers Alliance

“Labour’s top brass seem to have been taken aback by the public fury that has been unleashed by Rachel Reeves’ changes to inheritance tax. As a reminder, she’s had the brilliant idea to slap inheritance tax on family farms and businesses passed down to the next generation, meaning massive tax bills that will force many to sell up and leave their industry.

But they shouldn’t be surprised. While they may tell themselves that they’re on the side of the people by taking on the wealthiest in society, it turns out the people very much disagree with them. It turns out that taxpayers in every part of the country, from every social class, every age, every education level and even every political affiliation despise the changes. And not just that, they despise inheritance tax full stop.

Polling for the TPA by Public First of over 2,000 Brits found that the country is unanimous in supporting cutting or abolishing inheritance tax, with every group bar those with a PhD (typical) considering it the most unfair. Our head of campaigns, Elliot Keck, produced a useful thread going through the polling and our research team produced an interesting briefing on the basics of inheritance tax.

Unlike Reeves and co, as the voice of taxpayers, we at the TPA have decided we’re going to listen to the public. That’s why we have launched a new campaign to scrap inheritance tax entirely.”

“BY NOW, you’ve probably heard of Bishop Mariann Edgar Budde. You will likely be aware of the homily she gave at Tuesday’s post-inauguration ‘interfaith prayer service’ … She is a proponent, it seems to me, of that untroubling and therefore inadequate theological tradition which insists – against all evidence – that the primary goal of the religious life is to be nice. Here’s the bad news: it isn’t. Christian teaching is that each of us is called to be a saint, and the saints that we revere were not always nice to be around; that’s how they were able to become saints.”

Sun Mat too

Cunning plan was to run the music, then a Templar at 1234, the politics maybe, then jazz but I have no jazz, plus not much in the way of politics.

So I checked out one more Templar, on Australia Day, featuring the lovely Annette Andre, an Ozette herself … well, there was no choice, right? Couple that with Simon in a House of Horrors Hammer style Sunday afternoon B movie, melodramatic, OTT … well as just mentioned, no choice:

The House on Dragon’s Rock

An amalgam of a few reviews:

“A great B-movie feel to this episode, which has Templar heading off to rural Wales to investigate strange disappearances. Soon enough he’s involved with a conspiracy plot and some mad scientists whose latest experiments have created a giant…well, I’ll let you find out.

A real DR WHO feel to this one, which has atmospheric surrounds, a good supporting cast of character actors, and a fine monster. I wasn’t expecting this kind of thing from The Saint! People disappear without explanation and the evidence leads to an ominous house on the rocky hills.

There’s entertainment value, as long as you take everything at face value. I’m surprised Roger Moore could keep a straight face when making “The House on Dragon’s Rock.” Sometimes Leslie Charteris seemed to be dozing over his typewriter. He wrote an awful lot until he farmed the Saint out, and churned out rubbish along with the greater Templar yarns.

This tale was changed a lot and stuffed with familiar faces to make it palatable … including lovely Annette Andre, and Anthony Bate as the not-quite-mad-enough scientist who seems not so much mad as incredibly testy.

The problem with “mad scientist” stories is making what they’re mad about seem realistic. American 60s TV, which had more money, had enough difficulty with making its off-and-on brilliant SF programs believable. This tale ends up downright silly. But it was Charteris’ idea. He gets the blame.”

JH: Sunday afternoon, storm upon us out there, cream tea, coffee or something a tad stronger, chocolate, plus Annette Andre … nice afternoon.

Sunday [6 to 10]

(0957) This is slow-walk Sunday for me just now. The wind has started (mid 40s mph), battened down, chilly, rains forecast for around midday but not 100% inside either. Usual bouts of eyes, ears, nose, throat, gut are “peripherals” in a way … this is more … lowering of body core, systems not operating well. Light eating and staying snug is the order of the day, liquid intake. I’ll blog when possible. (1057)

6. Back to IYE’s mwerx sit-rep

The Devious Plan for Ukrankies
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=piHfZxh-0zU

This from the Uke part near the end:

Important things there are:

a. Mwerx had receipts, much in Russian language, to underscore the point. SBU is the Uke SS in Kiev. He’d just been showing flights of drones hitting a Russky refinery, then dropped into the above screenshot.

b. Interestingly, on X just now, was this:

As with “a”, I’ve viewed the “receipts” and they hold up … both sets are viewable if you do extra HW. Right … what does it all mean?

It means that there are two core things going on … the first was the 2024 plan to create chem/biological devastation for Kiev itself, blamed on the Russkies … this is the SBU, you ustd … plus actual attacks deep into Russia.

Aim? To prevent peace by any means, esp. now it looks like dialogue Trump-Putin, which will wreck the endless billions in scam money laundering, plus the trafficking industry, the paedo, the biolabs. Not just to prevent peace but to trigger WWIII any which way … dead humanity can never find the truth and punish the monsters.

A scenario … drones hit Russian refineries (yesterday), Putin retaliates (soon or else looks like a paper tiger to Russians), chem/bio weapon released in Kiev, Ukies die en masse, Putin blamed, Trump orders all out attack on Russia. End of life in western cities.

Core miscreants? Three letter agencies, NATO, old families (black nobility), those like Starmer under their control, myrmidons, karens, Demonrats, RINOs, all those benefitting. Victims? Ordinary people in each land, inc. the brainwashed still doing their worst, convinced they are good people, like that anti-xian so called bishop.

Australia Day [1 to 5]

(0541) IYE informs that they have “winds, rain and lightning” in France … we’re due this around midday apparently. You? (0723) Just compressed 14 items … variations on the current themes, globally … the themes the same, the obstinate resistance to doing the right thing sad. First, Steve and DAD. (0830)

5. Warning to Hegseth

… by a fellow ex-military, saying he needs to nip insurrection in the bud immediately … this is military, not civvie … comments below included:

Difficult explaining to the non-military mind but while blind obedience to a donkey leading the lions is disaster, e.g. Custer, the operations around Rorke’s Drift, the Light Brigade, Gallipoli (Hamilton) … add to that the Uke still doing what Zelensky/Azov still order them to … while that is just slaughter for some donkey’s pride ….. the opposite also holds true.

The commander must move well fed and rested troops, morale high, quickly and without delay, without the luxury of what we do here at Unherdables … argue this or that every step of the way, as we should … the time for arguing in the field is before the battle, not in the middle … lives crucially depend on troops knowing the plan and implementing it as one.

There is, therefore, the eternal dilemma … always was back to ancient times … that when it becomes blindingly obvious that the donkey(s) above deciding are complete non-comps … and that realisation comes upon them, not through a dissident wormtongue malcontent always stirring (such a one as moi), but from troops looking one another in the eye and it’s so blindingly obvious … that’s the point when troops must make that huge decision … if they do not, en masse, then examples are executed one after the other (the Romans called it decimation) to silence any dissent.

The impossible shift from that of instant obedience because in that lies victory, as against their own slaughter … to a position where they really must do a Fletcher Christian against a Bligh in order to save their units … there’s no official mechanism in place for that.

An example in football was the 2011 season downunder when, after an embarassing humiliation the previous season, previous head coach … the new coach came in and his reputation had been as a headkicking backman, total courage, good tactical head, a hard man, respected by all. He said to the players … look, here’s 2010, much loved coach who’s moved on … and here are we, with the power to take this flag, y’all know it … provided the leaders buy in and I do my job well. You in or not in?

They were in and they won the flag … resoundingly … despite errors from the rookie coach, learning on the job. Each committed, one by one, to a whole … became unstoppable. He’s still there. However, what if he’d turned out a complete non-comp like a Labour cabinet here?

It’s the oldest dilemma in the book. Hegseth must act decisively at this point, even as the new boy on the block. If he doesn’t … zero respect will follow.

1. Australia Day has a real edge to it this year, apparently

… the day after Rabbie Burns Night in Scotland. I saw these:

Just to bring non-Ozlanders up to speed … they put in a Labo(u)r govt some years back, apparently swapping leaders after that (where have we seen this before) … and he immediately launched full scale communism, attempting to wreck the Oz economy under some sort of DEI indigenous tribes superiority, plus Net Zero, plus they took a disliking to the tennis champ Djokovic and banned him for not deathjabbing.

Then they had a referendum called “Voice” which had this tiny, benefits receiving, first people who would own most land over other Australians, with their own “Lords” status in parlmt. Apparently, it was roundly rejected and the shock was that many famous “aborigines” were also vocal in the rejection.

That was that, in the way that Brexit was a rejection of the EU in 2016. Strange how events even so far apart in the world parallel each other … useless “communist leaders” ignoring the people of the land … there’s one in Canada right now, one in France, Romania … the UK govt won an election on 20+% of the possible national vote … and so it goes on … Brazil.

So there’s quite an edge to Australia Day downunder today, with official celebrations cancelled whilst people in the land (non Woke left) are defiantly celebrating it. Hmmmmmm.
