Switched on the wireless and what do I hear? The Office for National Statistics (ONS) are projecting the UK population will increase by 5 million over the next 7 years = 67.5 million today to 72.5 million in 2032. They also say the driver is ‘almost entirely net migration’ – as if we didn’t already know. I recall when the Norwegians were presented with a population explosion with over 90% coming from inward migration, they did something about it. Our politicians will do nothing about it so expect the worse. Together with the pursuit of ‘Net Zero’ this country is well on the road to financial and demographic ruin.
