New Year’s Eve [12 till close of play]

(1447) Afternoon all. (2003) Oops, evening all … time got away, slightly ill patch.

18. We know about Grifty and her world-weary manner

… well this is the other gal, Shonna, who reacts to Columbo episodes. I’ve gone a bit off Peter Falk since discovering he was neither the nice man nor cool dude some of us thought … plus how many times can we watch Columbo?

On the other hand, I’ve not seen this episode, this strange plot but Shonna carries us through with way too much detail … not a bad way to spend the remaining time before fireworks.

17. IYE says happy new year in comments

… and I should at least write something I suppose, as well as thanks-heaps to all patrons for sticking with nourishing, then unherdables … it warr a rough year, all considered.

This is going to be my NYE greeting across the sites where I write … hoping and praying this coming year will not be a washout for all those of good will … there are some good signs in America, none yet in Europe or in the southern hemisphere … but miracles do occur.

2. The left certainly network (verb)

… but so do we. For example, this is Charlotte Gill, reposted by Vicky, a longtime kipper, now Reform:

“The main things I find in my research (of the deep state/ whatever you want to call it) are:

– The Left are insanely incestuous, in terms of funding/ coordination/ networks, albeit you are supposed to think that their ideas/ different wings (eg. activist groups) sprout up organically, rather than working in concert/ being spurred by funders.

– Lefties tend to splinter their funding. I’ll give you an idea of what I mean. Imagine there’s Funder 1. Funder 1 gives £20k each to Group A and Group B. Group A then gives Group B £20k. Basically, you might as well have Funder 1 give Group B £40k and cut out the middleman. But it kinda looks better on accounting documents when you splinter up the funding this way. Group B gets funding from two sources, giving it the air of being an institution many want to put their funds into. I see funding move around like this all the time.

– At the same time, left-wingers are “collectivists” and this extends to the way they run corporations. They work as a sort of “corporate pack” – all singing from the same hymn sheet and creating funding infrastructure that keeps all of their wings alive.

– Ultimately the Left are planning some sort of global takeover, whatever you want to call it. Laugh at me/ call me crazy. But you could just go onto the C40 website and start from there. This stuff takes months to begin to understand. I’m four months in and now work with a “map” team – of internet sleuths – who put the networks into graphs. There are five of us and it still takes a lot of time.

– The plotters are a mixture of billionaires with odd/ Malthusian views (seriously, depopulation does seem to be a theme) and/ or rich people with shares in renewables (aka enjoying climate change hysteria because it means we do dumbass-energy policies which they banked on long before we knew what carbon capture meant). They use young people/ Marxists as useful idiots, to achieve their ideological aims and/ or get good returns on their shares in renewables.

– Left-wing funding is 10000000 x worse than its right-wing equivalent.

– But the Left use a series of tactics to stop people noticing what baddies they are. For instance, deflecting or projecting (“Tufton Street!” “Elon Musk!”).

– The Right are extremely naive. They just have no concept of what they’re up against and spend too much time writing opinion articles. Not a problem, per se, but we need an army of us examining funding networks. The stakes are very high and this crap has to be addressed and then pulled out. Hoping for the best will not work. #Afuera
