No. 5. I do not leave a tip unless I have received a service and meal which is above what I consider as reasonable for that establishment. If I am in a ‘greasy spoon’ establishment I do not expect the same level of service or food presentation or taste as I would from a **** restuarant.
It is up to me to determine what is reasonable in each case. I do not visit establishments who demand a tip. My money: my evaulation: my decision.
5. Never have to tip at a restaurant. We chose carefully for quality and service and those kind of establishments don’t expect tips. Any restaurants with a notice like that would soon have to close their doors over here!
