17. Bert?

I keep seeing references to this “Bert”, whoever he is, plus some pics of flooded roads … not sure if it’s in Ireland or Britain or when. Certainly, we’ve had none of that in this part of Britain, our northwest micro-region … there was some drizzle, turning a bit heavy overnight … that was it.

Has something being happening in parts of Britain? I’d not know as I watch or listen to no MSM whatever. John Redwood seems to think something happened:

12. Could not possibly comment on this Albertan lady’s take

IYE:

Alleged mother was Marguerite Rodiere the family’s cook.
“A degree of mystery surrounds the birth of Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon. She was born on August 4, 1900, the ninth of ten children of Claude Bowes-Lyon and Cecilia Cavendish-Bentinck, but her father neglected or forgot to register her birth for six weeks. Officially the site of her birth is listed as the family home in St. Paul’s Walden Bury, in Hertfordshire, although it is now accepted that it more likely occurred somewhere in London. One story has it that she was born in the back seat of a horse-drawn ambulance.” Source : Donna Butler

“….outrageous claim that the Queen Mother (Elizabeth Bowes-Lyon as she was then) was conceived in a sort of Edwardian surrogate mother situation. The Queen Mum’s mother supposedly had a bit of a nervous breakdown after the death of her oldest child, and it was suggested that she not attempt to have any more children. According to Lady Colin, the couple desperately wanted to add to their already enormous brood, so the future Earl of Strathmore and Kinghorne conceived not one but two children with the family cook. The author bases her evidence on the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Windsor used to call the Queen Mum ‘Cookie’ as a rather vicious nickname and the fact that there is some discrepancy about where the Queen was actually born. She also claims that the Earl, on his deathbed, confessed to his physician that the true story of the Queen’s origins as well as that of her baby brother David. Oh, and Elizabeth and David were referred to as the ‘Benjamins’ in the family, a reference to the biblical story of Jacob and Rachel (Rachel had offered her handmaiden to Jacob as a surrogate mother since she was unable to conceive)…….”

“Now, doubtless only the necromancers who practise the dark arts of predictive economics are sufficiently well placed to spreadsheet the consequences of government reform in this area. And like Rachel Reeves, I am no economist. But the issues raised by this latest Treasury volte face are not so much economic as moral, and any discussion of them must therefore range beyond the specific case of farming.”

6. The persistence of and limits to ignorance

To my mind, ignorance is simply not knowing, and as we can’t know everything, plus there’s a whole global psy-ops corps dedicated to keeping us ignorant, and as we grow in development stages … then it’s a bit harsh, methinks, to castigate ignorance per se. Dispel it, yes, but it is what it is.

Different, quite different, is “ignorant” or “ignoramus”. This involves a certain three wise monkeys, a deliberate intention to remain ignorant on something, the river in Egypt, the refusal to “go there” … sometimes sheer laziness.

Solution? One is the old coffeehouse idea or tavern, where people drop in as and when … not entirely free-for-all and the landlord maintains civility, keeps the structure and ale in good repair, is not interested in building a chain or mass clientele … preferring a cosy haven for those who detive something from it … that’s as much as any retailer in the high street can rightly expect. Concentrate on the product, the rest takes care of itself.

And if there are various taverns about, and folk these days can pub crawl as they wish, Stasi-permitting, then there’s an off chance that ignorance can be at least largely dispelled. For what? Who knows … just to satisfy curiosity maybe?

5. Taking stock of our position

… as humans plus citizens (elections etc.)

a. The whole biz of how Starmer can become a govt with huge majority on 20% of the vote is but one issue vigorously underscoring some key points:

(i) The plan is to humiliate, reduce to penury, starve, display utter unconcern for humans as humans, as well as controlling citizens, constricting “rights” in a nation, in a society … whilst bellyaching on about faux “rights”, mocking what humans even are … men, women, children.

(ii) Once you can replace the idea of these clowns, puppets above being the ultimate “haters” of humanity (true but not the whole picture) … once you can get past the shadow govt idea of psychos being the ultimate baddies (true to a point as myrmidons but not the whole picture), it’s so easily explained by a satanic entity being the ultimate cornerstone … the ancient enemy everpresent … but that involves belief in an “other than human” enemy … an impossibility for today’s godless humans.

(iii) Once you can buy such a concept though of this ultimate, sentient baddy … who puts himself out there before you 24/7 by the way, in symbolism, in “entertainment”, in handsigns, e.g. Gabbard’s horned handsign yesterday … once you can see the picture, that this thing is ancient evil … once you can get past the decrepit, wise sociologist historian’s model of the history of societies (quite true as far as it goes but again not the whole picture) … only then can you start to understand how to counter this massed evil en masse.

(iv) This petition in the UK (great as far as it goes, pegging out now around 1.76 million last I saw) shows what concerted action can do but unless the society as a whole (significant majority anyway) is behind the same code or belief system (even the US Constitution is one of those), then the chances are low of toppling or containing the evil. Defiant, yes … but given (i) above, ultimately ineffective in itself … it’s just a first step, unless society’s individual adult members do come to ustd that unless he/she decides to oppose the source of world evil, then any successes will be piecemeal.

b. The logic is staring us in the face but of course, few wish to go there.

(i) Meanwhile, all sorts of other explanatory systems are promoted … from eastern mysticism (NHS is pushing this in webinars and courses) to wicca to Scientism to Timothy Leary to whatever (see The Moody Blues’ In Search of the Lost Chord) to New Agery, to Shamanism, to Green … which at least illustrates that humans are empty without this certain Something inside, within each soul.

(ii) Whatever can this Something be? No one wishes to go there … a reticence abetted by Bergoglio’s and Welby’s evil actions, also paedo priests, the Crusades, nuns taking teenager’s babies in Ireland etc. etc., churches burned down (never mosques), gay cake bakers prosecuted, ruined, signs daubed on bus sides, slaughter in Nigeria for a start, the way even soc-med shuns anyone writing this … many just quietly click out. Who can blame them … cult fanaticism is to run from.

(iii) Which is why I don’t preach and in fact OTT preaching is just as much playing for the other side, as it turns listeners off when forceful and fanatical, using stock repetitions, along with regalia, dramatic ceremony, mumbo-jumbo, beads, incense … just as our politics on this political side can be cast as “far right” and fanatical by the baddies … projecting us as the enemy of humanity, while the actual miscreants are seen as doing some sort of good (St Greta) … thus we are cast as filled with hate (never mind that this is just anger eating us away to an early grave).

(iv) All of which leads any who’s followed the above so far to see that the only genuine way to counter such an ancient foe that has any chance whatever involves a readjustment of ourselves for a start, individually:

Straighten up and fly right

… and once the vast majority in a society see and embrace that individually, not in group blind faith led by a chanting Druid, mind, but as individual adults … then mountains can be moved. When, organically, so many come around to this idea that the whole thing’s wrong as it is, heading for oblivion (planned in) … then there are the seeds, right there, of clawing us back to survival.

c. Inevitably, it requires courage and calm. Whence? Where from? From a bottle? From gobbledegook chanting? The source of ultimate courage is the same source capable of overcoming this otherworldly source of evil. Anyone seen the image of St George slaying the dragon? Goodness, I wonder just what that could all be about? Just some knight on a horse slaying a lizard? That’s all?

And there, chaps and chapesses, is the rub. What chance everyone, organically, individually, comes around to necessity and we therefore, together, can fight off all the evil … individual western, unherdable cats … and yet capable of combining for this task … for now.

Or else too few can start to see it, fighting one another over niceties … and the result you know. The scribes and sages have all warned where this thing is headed … Chris Rea sang about it.

Still not done:

Vky is a Reform gal and Mandy stood for their parliament thingy over there for a similar party. The map is changing … in fact, we are international on our side, for ordinary people, against globopsycho and karens.

Our DAD and Steve also dropped comments at both places.

Frankly, chaps and chapesses, I’m moderately excited about this pushback … so many ordinary people finding out about each other … how we feel.

13. Taxpayers’ Alliance newsletter

“Three weeks on from the chancellor’s disastrous budget, and the UK’s farmers descended on Whitehall to protest Rachel Reeves’ vicious and vindictive family farm tax.

It’s difficult to overstate the level of anger of those who gathered in central London. Quite frankly, it’s hard to disagree with them. The government’s changes to agricultural property relief risks seeing thousands of family farms ruined as those left behind struggle to pay enormous tax bills. With so much of their wealth tied up in assets like harvesters, tractors, and fields, inheritance tax bills will cripple many families that, while feeding us, are just about scratching a living.”

Cablecars

First, the London one:

Now a navel-gazing ramble about me-me-me … Jago hates em and so do I … the question is … why, why, why? Ditto with ferris wheels and planes … and skyscrapers … and walkways from one building to another … am I scared of everything which moves?

Well, ziplines are ok, the kamikaze slide at the waterpark in Cyprus is fine:

… the Katoomba rackrail down the mountainside is fine:

… skiing on most slopes … lovely:

… toboganning? Crazy for it:

The boat I used to race (won some too)? Twas a buzz:

So, why would I never go on that London cablecar, a ferris wheel or that Pilatus to lake cablecar (again)?

Partly, it’s because I’m not in control, I don’t trust the engineering of others, heights off ground are disorienting though fine on mountaintops and in ski jumps … not an issue. It’s just through the air, fontrolled by others … nah, never willingly.

Glider? Yep, I’d have tried that but until detached … nah. Hang-gliding? Nah … don’t trust the engineering … or nature for that matter. Am I strange?

Sunday [8 to 12]

12. My blue hell

While this is certainly, an idyll, a dream come true:

… and this old meme was probably true back then:

… the ability to find that is increasingly not today. With the flown-in and boated-in invasion of military age males in cushy accommodation paid for by taxpayers, something else is adding to the horror … I saw how one couple had fled the metropolis and bought out in the sticks, as far from dystopia as possible, the govt had bussed a few hundred right next to them in the country.

I was thinking what would have been had I gone ahead with my hybrid sailing craft. For a start, at sea she’d have been safe enough but in port or anywhere close to shore, even anchored offshore … she would still have been at their mercy.

On a canal in England? Completely at their mercy … the situation’s quite changed now. Stationary plot of land? Ditto. Campavan? Nothing permanent … cramped … shower, power, drinking water, waste products?

All right, how about two couples in tandem, camping legally, end to end, set up an overnight set of panels to connect them?

Hmmmmm … one man on bike, trailer carrying solid tent behind?

All right, floating island on a megaraft, heavily armed? Many issues.

“Farmers, the living expression of conservatism, are the final bulwark against the State. No one should be under any illusion that they stand in the way of globalism, or that other aspects of this war against farmers were not already under way under the previous Conservative administrations.
