Friday [1 to 6]
(0613) Morning all, Gates cloud billowing out there. See housekeeping, readers. (0743)(0832) Sky clear, fluffy clouds, looking out for chemtrails. (0833)
6. These Egyptian tourist submarine deaths

Resort town Hurghada was apparently the place, a mile off the coast, looking at the pretty coral. The six dead were Russian, the other 39 were saved. Uh huh. So many questions … MSM have it, but no answers as to why.
Now, one prays for them, natch, but I also reflect and shudder. We (best gal and I) went from Limassol to Port Said, thence to Cairo, never really any intention of heading down the coast. All the same, we were a Russian tour party … also when we went to Thailand. At the pyramids, when I was kidnapped on camel-back, circumvented soon after by Cairo plod … that was enough fun for me. My best gal thought it all highly amusing … let her continue to enjoy that memory.

“Targetted Support. That explains the letter from ONS that I received today. No expense spared. Its sole purpose was to let me know that I would soon receive another letter. New trend . In November send out letters informing people that you will soon be sending them Xmas cards.
Apparently the second letter will be a questionnaire for each person under my roof. Not for voting purposes. And if all respond I will/might get a £10 voucher. Down payment on my first mRNA jab?
I might not respond now. Or I might lie.”
4. Rolf and PMQs again
“The PM ‘is not answering the question about discipline in schools… [and] did not answer the question about compensating schools for the jobs tax,’ said the Leader of the Opposition Kemi Badenoch.
‘[Sir Keir] did not answer the point on the digital services tax,’ said the Lib Dems’ leader Ed Davey, who wanted him to rule out scrapping it.
‘[Starmer’s] answer had nothing to do with my question,’ said Sir Julian Lewis (Con), ‘which was to ask why the Government are ordering the permanent sealing of Britain’s only two shale gas wells.’
The PM goes through the motions at question time, simply as a tedious obligation.”

Yesterday the theme was inter-gang violence of adolescents; today it is the attacks by young pupils on their teachers.
a) The teacher, who works at the Ormeaux secondary school, was outside with her class when she was accosted by three 13-year-olds.*
b) Yesterday, in Vitry-sur-Seine (94), a primary school student allegedly threatened his teacher with death, according to a police source.
c) In a press release issued on Thursday, March 27, staff at the Alain de Saint-Fons secondary school (Rhône) warned of an “unacceptable climate of violence” within the school. The day before, a teacher was stoned.
d) Do you remember the group of illegal immigrants who took over a Theatre in Paris? They were evicted about a week ago. Where did they end up? “Under the bridges of Paris”……
……
*My comment is this:
- Men of the old type … the greatest danger for us is the damage we’d do, which would see us pretty quickly in stir with all the hello snackbars, which is not a fun prospect. This is our greatest danger …how we’d respond to provocation outside.
- See, for most men of that old type, I’d take a guess, the concept of moderation in war is sheer imbecility (I’ve posted that quote before). Frankly, our response is and always would be to maim, which might result in killing the bstds … the concept of just taking threats from toerags is just not in our brain’s auto-reaction.
- The second danger is that, as any fighter knows … one does not “react” to a blow, one “pre-empts” his blow by micro-seconds, no niceties … and therein is the rub … by definition, we will always be the ones “starting it” in a court of law.
- The result of us doing that is therefore the loss of our liberty forever, plus great danger of physical violence upon us inside klink by more than sufficient numbers of them, cell door left open etc. Those are stoopid odds to find ourselves in.
- Thus, if we take the chain of thinking right back to the start, e.g. someone threatening us … well it depends how they do it. Our first quick decision is if we could disarm them just with strength, nothing more … or if it’s more dangerous than that, in which case we’d have to take them out … there it is. Then fathers, plod, all sorts … imams, fighting aged invaders … these all become involved. Which is eternal loss of liberty again, plus violence on us by large numbers.
- Thus we have personal decisions to be made, not in that situation but well before that, like NOW, here, reading this … NOT to place ourselves in a position where we could be provoked into taking out a few of the bstds.
- Plus there’s an added element … women and kids. It goes without saying that we’d have to respond to any attack on our Wmn and Chn … it’s not even up for debate. That means that any maiming of an attacker (and I know no other way to fight) results in that permanent loss of liberty.
- Therefore, the instant we step outside our front door … I mean get real about this, fellow men … that danger of loss of liberty, from us maiming someone, really does exist.
- Now, what if some of our gals have taken steps themselves, to defend themselves … e.g. spray, all sorts of tricks … in my eyes, that’s great and yes, we’d still have to step in and assist. You see, even if she’d started it … that may well have been just her first defensive move, quite understandable, so we’d have to show we’re an ally very quickly.
- Finally … the whole situation is fraught. Even were I young enough again to teach, I do fear my reaction to provocation … as I said, I know no other way to fight than to maim. In this society in 2025, that’s simply an end result begging to happen. Food for thought, laze and gem.
1. Housekeeping … just dropped this at 1006
“Temporary: 0540: awoke, first straight-through sleep for weeks … it did mean though I’d crashed early, out like a light till now. Interesting to me is how it may have affected Steve’s and DAD’s drops. Quick look … seems ok. This notice will come down at 0800.”
Then had a quick look through “Bonkersgate” in comments. Can’t see that I need to add further to it … I’ve always felt that God’s a Big Boy, can take care of Himself.
And so down to Friday biz …….
Thursday [12 until your humble blogger zonks]
(1523) Strange things. First was Steve’s and my links vanishing … twerent me, guv … then Andy disappearing once I posted his ad, ha ha… then this afternoon, having been busy in the morning, I pursued a line after lunch which is in Thurs 13, which sort of killed any film. Not asleep but away with the fairies all the same.

Sherry Walker has been a commercial airline pilot for almost 35 years. She says DEI has so completely undermined safety standards that pilots are sometimes afraid to leave the cockpit for fear of what their co-pilots will do unattended.
15. Hypocrite

Not running the vid … don’t wish to look at him, let alone listen. Plus this:

14. Here are these two songs
… I need to find out who dropped them in comments.
Found it … Justin:
13. Not usually having much nostalgia time
… except on the blog, today I went down a rabbit hole from the past. There were two questions … one concerning novelty songs and the other concerning people I looked up to (a bit).
Thought was that, following that Sam the Sham song some evenings ago, maybe I could run three other novelty songs here from the 50s/60s … the obvious one for me was the first song I think I ever heard … or at least the earliest I remember … Flying Purple People Eater … listened again … it was fun, went to a list of others … 1910 Fruitgum Company and Simple Simon … I was on an army training course and that played on the radio. Listened again today … nah, not really, not any more. Sugar Sugar … nah. Monster Mash … nah. Ding a Ling … I don’t like sex in novelty songs.
And so on. Hallo Muddah, Hallo Farder. Hmmmm, not today. On Top of Old Smoky … don’t know why but they just don’t do it for me any more. So what would I post this afternoon? Well I had two Mark Knopfler songs but can you remember who posted them in comments? It was one of us … I’ll go looking later.
So to that other question … how come the artists … film, music … I really liked, e.g. Helen Shapiro, the Yardbirds were always somewhat older than I was … maybe ten years, maybe four … always big brother or sister age … almost no one my age. Their outfits were always the era immediately before mine … they looked cool, were dashing and “with it”?
Whilst the friends I had later, say over 40, who were mates, always seemed about seven years younger. Why? It was never planned that way. Same with women.
12. Seems some progress over there
… wonder though if it’s just sporadic little victories keeping hope alive.

Thursday [7 to 11]
(1126) Talk about busy morning … all sorts of jobs done ahead… brilliant, on the move, helps cope with the horrors, on top of keeping faith. (1209)

I know a few of these … 40 going 14 … sad thing is they will never grow up … just go down. Those that made them this way are going to hell.

a) Battles betwen adolescent gangs in France is becoming a problem. A new episode of knife fights in the Paris region. Two youths were injured in a brawl involving about ten people this Wednesday in Versailles (Yvelines).
b) Sékou, 17, [who died in the battle] was from the Hautes-Mardelles neighborhood of Brunoy, the neighboring town. Rivalry rages between this neighborhood and the one where the events occurred.
c) Nantes is, again, in the news, but not from inter-gang violence, but violence on an individual by a group. A violent scene occurred on the Île de Nantes.
d) But the Government are not standing idly by – they issue an order … the government is raising its voice […] National Education Minister Élisabeth Borne and […] Bruno Retailleau, signed a circular…..
Wing in ground (effect)
The Ekranoplan Orlyonok zoomed across the water not far from where I lived … my mate over there saw it a few times, though there was a Soviet ban on telling anyone. They were talking a powered vehicle, whereas I was wanting to run a sailed version.
The only way I was going to be able to do that was with what’s called a Brucefoil … I had the builder teed up, he’d seen the blueprints, he was happy enough, the yard was teed up, advertising to cover some of the costs was no great issue, so I gathered. Regulations killed it. Greed. Language barrier too.
This one by this young boffin … a very handy guy with his tech and building ability .. was interesting … at first … but as someone steeped in Ekranoplan, I knew he could never completely do without the front mounted lifting props … to rely only on the surface thrusters was not going to cut it. Why cut all lifters anyway? It’s not a cheap form of motion, end of.
If you go to my youtube channel, it has two videos only … both wing in ground vehicles.

The state of affairs both sides of the pond
First up, I redacted/prepared some sshots, only to find that not only had one of them then, subsequently, been “negatived”, but all four links of one of our chaps had gone in the past hour … completely, no sign. I conclude from that that someone is acting on this site within the guts of it … candidates are many.
I’ve salvaged some sshots:

IYE has a link which I dare not put in the post here but it’s there for now. I’m informing readers, yet again, that time is a factor here … we can lead a horse to water but if it’s a trough, not a river, troughs have a habit of being lapped up quickly.

21. The Signal thing … more
I have some sshots to run. I see Steve has posted, maybe parallel. Here are mine:

All right, have now been through Steve’s tweets and the Shawn ones are certainly copies of what went out … not war plans. Now, X ers can jst click and view.
Right, I have to head off for awhile, then back. The major story now is not Signal and not yet the Chinese but the demonrats have sued Hegseth over something, assigning the worst lawfare judge possible in the US. That is the entire point of all of it … get rid of Hegseth any which way.
Ladies and gentlemen, I see all out war here.
