Friday [11 to 15]

(0800) Hoping you’re all surviving Friday so far. (1054)

15. No unity with the wicked

Andrew Torba says it, Vox says it, I say it … tolerance of evil is no Christian virtue. You can only have unity with those wishing you ill, wishing your death, wishing you misery … once there is repentance on their part.

Cuts both ways of course … if we ourselves have done wrong things in the past, there must be recognition of that first, remorse, repentance, atonement. The Woke left though are wrong … they’re utterly in the wrong. Ball’s in their court, if ever they mature enough.

You may have seen veterans groups planning to turn their back on Starmer at the Cenotaph. Quite right, otherwise it’s complicit in his deeds and attitudes.

As for Armistice and Remembrance itself … for how long? In one sense, if it alters shape with time … bringing in other British conflicts … fine … as long as the original day still gets a mention.

How long, in terms of years? Should we say once one’s great grandparents die? Should we say one hundred years? How long for?

11. Today’s French lesson

DAD sent this:

https://www.lanouvellerepublique.fr/a-la-une/la-police-israelienne-arrete-deux-gendarmes-a-jerusalem-creant-un-incident-diplomatique

The actual story is that two Israeli police were sent by car into a sensitive zone patrolled or maintained by the French, not unlike in Berlin, way back when. All sorts of fisticuffs ensued. Paris backed its officers etc. etc.

The back story is that in certain zones, e.g. on the Temple Mount, the loony jihadis see it as the green light for the final conflagration, so it’s a red rag to the goat breeders.

That’s not my interest in the article … my interest was in the language. In Russian, there’s an expression “malenki slovarni zapas” … small word store, meaning restricted vocabulary. The issue is not not knowing the rules, most endings etc. but actually finding the words to use.

In reading the two paragraphs above, which were pretty easy really … I think most of you who had schoolchild French, you could do it … the issue for me was “lors”, which really does alter the context. Lors means during and Lors d’échanges means During exchanges, which is similar to how we might say it. Just why I’d forgotten keyword “lors”, in the same way perhaps as “maintenant” … wwweeellll, there are holes in the brain’s “zapas”, no?

Friday [1 to 6]

(0419) Morning all … going to open with three things this ole bod needs, apart from the Grace of God … sleep, sipping (close to) water, moving about more than resting. Works for me. Add to that proper eating, cutting out most of (but not all) the *&£&*. Pizza is one of the worst offenders … the grease. (0509)

6. Lady called Ann Kelly on Gab

My view is note and file for later retrieval: “They get Tulsi Gabbard to say something slightly in defense of White males so the guys think she’s on their side but she’s really not… it’s just a mask Eurasianists use. There’s no difference between Keith Ellison and Tulsi Gabbard, they just appeal to different demographics.” Hmmmmm.

5. Saw it on my Gab rounds

4. Don’t know the bona fides of one Robert Sepehr

… but this was on Gab: “Reports are coming in that ELON MUSK HAS BOUGHT CNN. Reportedly, Javier Milei revealed that Elon Musk has bought the News media Company and that it will be President Trump’s “Chainsaw”. This is a HUGE blow to the deep state if true!”

From Clarin, a seemingly legit Argentine newspaper: “Javier Milei reveló que Elon Musk “se compró” CNN y que será la motosierra de Donald Trump.”

2. DAD drop summary

a) The irruption of Israeli police officers into the Eleona, a site managed by France in Jerusalem since 1948, caused a serious diplomatic incident during a visit by French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot

(JH: No idea what “irruption” is but it seems to be entering protected space. There’s more to this than meets the eye when it comes to Jerusalem … more on this later.)

b) The Minister of the Interior, Bruno Retailleau, recently mentioned a risk of “Mexicanization” of the country. A statement that 71% of French people agree with, according to a survey by the CSA Institute for CNEWS, Europe 1 and the JDD released this Thursday.

c) A PE teacher at the Jean-Jaurès high school in Montreuil was slapped by a student on Tuesday, November 5 after an argument over her outfit, BFMTV learned. According to our information, this student was wearing an abaya, an outfit banned in public schools since September 2023.

d) The UK farmers are ‘making a stink’ after the Reeves budget. Farmers have threatened to co-ordinate a “sewage sludge strike” after the Chancellor outlined plans to impose inheritance tax on their properties.

14. What we’re up against

These people should not be our enemies … they’ve been made that way by the constant Narrative. If they are like this, then what are their puppetmasters really like behind the suits and swish dresses?

Steve brings:

Rita gloats too much for mine … we are in a war, we can briefly celebrate a milestone … even Arizona being declared … but Kari Lake is still being shut out. Reason Arizona’s getting away with it is the criminal Hobbs, the governor who knows that if Kari L gets to the Senate, she has privilege to spill the beans on Hobbs and the whole setup.

So, in general, I’m minded not to gloat, not to be triumphant … this sort of person is not done yet … in fact she and the she-type Woke “males” are now doubly dangerous.

Harry Brent [1 to 3]

Some may have noticed that my attempt to run “Deadlier than the Male” (60s) resulted in “age restricted” at youtube and as you’re all underage, we can’t use it. Now, IYE dropped a link to a filum but I can’t find it … I went back as far as 863, no joy.

So let’s have my third serial by Durbridge … first three episodes today. My comment is it’s as good as the other two we had … good plot, v good acting.

Draino:

“Think about this:

If Trump won in 2020, he would’ve had a Democrat House and Senate More impeachments, no Senate confirmations, no bills passed, and possibly the end of the MAGA movement as an effective political force

But now?

He has the House, Senate, Supreme Court, a popular vote mandate, and an entire country that wants to clean up our elections, close our borders, deport illegals, and hold corrupt politicians accountable

Sometimes I think it had to happen this way”

{Contrasting this latest election and how speedily it concluded with the long drawn out shenanigans of the last one – I think Draino is correct. Part of the “Plan”. If so – well played!}

Thursday [1 to 7]

(1133) Morning all … anyone up yet? 😎 What a morning … it all hit, domestically, from different directions earlier and I just did not get to blog at all. The upshot, after it all, is a radically different domestic situation and might I suggest that you all be on your toes as well … as the forces of bad are only going to redouble their efforts now.

When I say radically different, surprisingly it’s been better for me so no complaints. I’m also coming out of some heart and circulation concerns I’ve had for three days … no one’s been able to contact me locally and today is included but following today, hopefully it settles down a bit. Anyway, down to today’s doings. (1249)

3. Get knotted, Maitlis

Rolf:

Emily Maitlis loved last week’s PMQs: ‘Just imagine if PMQs was like this every week. Conciliatory. Helpful. By [sic] partisan. Passionate and compassionate.’

Your correspondent was thinking more on the lines of ‘get a room.’ It may have suited Sir Keir to face Walter the Softy but cross-party collusion has often been the bane of good politics, whether re Brexit or destructive Covid lockdowns. The Commons and especially PMQs should be a bear garden.

La Maitlis herself was not all sweetness and light this morning as Trump became President-Elect

1. Quora comes good again

Richard Smith, former auditor: Why do hotel guests put a towel under their door?

“As someone who spends a lot of time on the road for work I feel well qualified to answer this. On average, I am staying in hotels for 35 weeks out of the year.

I almost always put a towel under the door. Often the gap at the bottom of door is a full inch or more and the light spilling in makes it difficult to sleep. I also travel with binder clips to help close the blackout curtains.

Talking to other travelers over the years I’ve learned that people traveling with pets will do this to help keep their fur buddies from getting excited every time someone passes by in the hallway.”

22. Related to 21 on Arizona plus other matters

Going to just type this at 0121 GMT … sleep and circulation issue I’d better attend to … each screenshot takes too much time … since I put out on X about Kari Lake some hours back, there’s been quite a US response, the most reassuring being Harmeet K. Dhillon, one of DJT’s key lawyers in prior lawfare on him.

Firstly, that lawfare … James, Willis and Merchan have vowed to see Trump in prison and will redouble efforts to put a sitting President away … this is beyond insanity now. Opinion is mixed about if that will be possible, given countersuits on the three for abuse … meanwhile, Jack Smith is getting leaned on by a suddenly responsible DoJ to drop all of it.

Arizona … MAGA and GOP are well aware, have a battery of lawyers and watchers there … issue is the 61% votes cast, now it seems 67% … how ridiculous is the counting? Then someone says that magic word Maricopa and all is clear … wildly corrupt county, all officials should be behind bars.

My own lil ole concern is well answered … yes, they’re well aware, the GOP … the big question being why anyone would vote straight Trump in Az for Pres but Demonrat for Senate? Is there something the people themselves don’t like about her or is it something else? The something else could easily be her Christian stance upfront but is more likely, imho, to be her knowledge of the fake governor Kathleen Hobbs in the gov race, Hobbs’s crimes.

Also, someone pointed out that the bottleneck is preventing heavily GOP bundles being dropped and counted. Whole thing is well beyond lil ole me, Maricopa.

21. Just posted this on X

I’m reading that now that Lara and the GOP have taken their eyes off the ball, late ballot drops, e.g. in Arizona, threaten to defeat Kari Lake.

20. Masih Alinejad on X

“Exclusive: Ahoo Daryaei Revealed as the Woman Who Undressed in Protest Against Morality Police Close associates of Ahoo Daryaei, a student who protested against morality police harassment at Tehran’s Science and Research University by removing her clothes, have shared photos and details about her with me.

One of her associates said, “Her official name is Mahla, but her friends and close ones call her Ahoo, at her request. We know her as an incredibly brave woman who never accepted coercion.” Another source told me that Ahoo Daryaei has two young children. She was married once but separated from her husband some time ago. Her ex-husband was the brought on camera by state TV, claiming to be her spouse and asking people not to share her images.

A close friend added that authorities have disabled Ahoo’s Instagram account, where she shared many videos and photos of herself and her children, clearly showing that she was not only mentally sound but also a lively, courageous woman filled with joy and vitality. In sending Ahoo’s pictures, this source emphasized, “Ahoo, besides being exceptionally intelligent and achieving the highest grades, was well-known among her friends and classmates for her courage and determination to stand up against oppression. She defended her rights multiple times, both in school and university, confronting harassers and bullies.”

Ahoo Daryaei was transferred under worrying circumstances to Iran Psychiatric Hospital, where significant concerns about her safety and well-being remain. The atmosphere at the psychiatric hospital has become highly secured since her arrival, with security forces isolating her in part of the emergency room, denying even hospital staff access to her. Yesterday, an informed source at the hospital told me that initial observations by the staff indicated Ahoo was mentally healthy.

However, after her initial assessment, only doctors affiliated with security agencies from outside the hospital have been allowed in her room. According to this source, it appears that authorities intend to push her to the brink of insanity through unknown pills and injections. Ahoo once attempted to escape the hospital but was unsuccessful.”

JH: Interestingly (to no one), videos stop me numbering comments … isn’t that fascinating?

The thing about the Donald coming back is it reminds me of me old da. (This is equally fascinating.) Anyway, there we were watching Coronation Street and someone had just hit Len Fairclough … knocked him down in fact. Me da said, “Now watch him come back like a Yank.”

And he did, did Len Fairclough. “What’s a Yank?” I may have asked but probably didn’t. To my father, a Yank was one of those soldiers who came over, stealing our women. But to Southerners, he’s a carpetbagger. Anyway, he’s a NY Yankee all right, the Donald.
