I’ve only watched 20 minutes of the first one so far, but may switch to this one without finishing the first. May have broken my finger chopping wood yesterday, not too serious but lots of time lost to the NHS. X-ray tomorrow so that’s more time gone. Even so, I agree with the comment on the first film –
“Peggy Dow (1928, still alive at 97) does though, in this film, but she falls for the creep too easily”
Yes she did, far too easily for someone in that cynical business. The car in the water scene was odd too, guy in the car doing as he was told for a good photo – didn’t work I thought.

JH: You’re in the wars of late … thinking of you tomorrow. Changing tack on film tomorrow … have a Brit film instead.
