(1751) Evening all. Not 100% at this end just currently. Slowly coming out of it.
25. It’s really hit the fan, readers
As X is the primary forum for Reform, then as you can gather, everyone’s having a say … opinion is overwhelmingly pro Lowe Habib and anti Zia Farage Tice. At this point anyway. I’m with whomever the Brit people are overwhelmingly with … and in the US, whomever the Americans are overwhelmingly with, ditto in Hungary.
All are flawed to a point … question is whom we each decide to back. Night night, all, too late for me, need shuteye.

24. Thanks AKH, IYE, DAD and Steve across the way
… for the welcome comments … unable to focus currently on fine sidebar print to reply there. Going to get some shuteye now, chaps.
23. Now to another matter which has blown up
… and I’m n two minds on it … however, I made a promise:

At the same time, an issue has arisen next door in our house as a result of me switching off the phone, as I am ill … was trying to get some kip. This third one is now resolved but I did say to her … why do things always hit precisely when I go down ill? Remember two evenings ago here at HQ?
All right, here’s the second issue:

Now, there are two thoughts here, two things to say. First is that Soph’s been most outspoken in a Bernie Spofforth way and is constantly being taken down. She’s highly p***ed off, to swear in front of you, sorry me, but she lost her nursing job due to her antivaxx stance. She does not ustd the term diplomatic, wild redhead that she is.
The other thought is hmmmmm, she’s certainly goading X and how … they’ve gone reasonably easy on her till now. However, sockpuppet accounts are not on … such an obvioys one too in this case.
Anyway, it’s not one I can resolve from here for now.
22. Having re-read Rupert Lowe’s letter again
… slowly this time … my question is this … look carefully at the five players here … Nigel, Lee, Rupert, someone called Zia. Now … look at the things Starmer and the king have been doing, look at the line Rupert’s been taking on the invasion … then have a look at this Zia person. Who is he? What’s his ethnicity?
Also, look at Ben Habib. What ethnicity is he? I suspect, but don’t know as yet … I suspect one is Muslim and one Indian if you catch my drift. If that is so, then what’s that to do with Britain?
All right, early days but I also suspect this Zia is the moneybags behind Reform and is dedicated to killing off any Rupert type Brit feeling in the country just now. For now, I’d say sit tight, let it play out. It certainly needs resolving.
21. This has now apparently blown wide open
… so I need to present it to the Unherdables via screenshots as they arose:

And then this:

20. Politics is a dirty game
… and I’ve seen some dirty play this afternoon. Step back and consider, that with Reform increasing share to the point of taking several councils and with Rupert Lowe being seen as a driving force, but with Nigel still a major drawcard in the community … what would you do, were you a Uniparty strategist?
Were I the Uniparty’s Dominic Cummings, obviously the idea would be to see off the Reform threat and here’s how I’d do it:
- Firstly, the bad boys, i.e. Labour, go full-on non-comp communist, reversing their platform immediately post election and doing every unpopular thing they can think of, from Chagos to going full-on jihadi, roping in the king along the way, also calling off council elections.
- Meanwhile, Jenrick, a bit like Poilievre, quickly becomes the voice of reason to the nation, Badenoch is overthrown, he’s the new focal point for conservative thought in Britland, promising all sorts of reasoned proposals, so that the people quite forget the Tory mess under Sunak.
- To complete the hat trick, twist the knife inside the fissure between backtracking Nige and uncompromising Rupert, throwing in a Ben Habib to add salt to it, then goad Rupert and come out with an unsubstantiated charge by two staffers about Rupert’s “bullying”.
Piece of cake, no? Dirty tactics? Politics, darlings. Voila … back to the good ole red-blue, blue red game, all opposition dashed.
