Saturday [9 to 11]

(0924) Morning all … looks bright out there. (1003)

11. How long will it take the three wise monkeys?

10. Meanwhile, apart from liars Two Tier and Reeves here

… there’s this Oz report from downunder:

Now for those not familiar with CHOGM, I’ve a little tale … back in the days of WN1, early days, we were lying there around 9 p.m., whispering sweet nothings concerning what the new mar-romance required, when suddenly there were spotlights above us, choppers, they shone the lights at our bedroom window, there were these disembodied military voices too, we were awaiting the descent lines, they were so close that the bed was vibrating and equally suddenly … down fell the heart shaped soft toy she’d suspended from our brass bedhead … right between us it landed … across it was stitched: “Love.”

Awwww, thank you, CHOGM, thank you thank you. We always remembered those CHOGM copters, half expecting them to reappear at significant moments in our future … but no. And dear reader … that is a true story, not embellished in any way.

9. The heavyweights are slugging now

Maybe it’s just colourless Starmer (remember John loves Ginny too?) but US politics is so much more entertaining, esp. in election year:

We’ll obviously keep reporting Brit horrors in Westminster and Guido’s in my blogrolls if you need your daily fix but really, the action’s daily across the pond:

Saturday [5 to 8]

(0525)(0642)

8. Longrider and heat pumps

If they were any good, incentives wouldn’t be needed. See also the white elephants that are EVs.

7. “The left does not care about you”

6. TDS (blogrolls)

5. DAD drop at 856 (hope it works)

a) 23 have gone – plenty more to follow [I hope]. This Thursday, October 24, 23 people boarded a Georgian Airways plane departing from Rennes airport.

b) They said that there would not be a slide into judicial killing. “Canada has just killed the first citizen under the Canadian government’s controversial new plans to begin euthanizing patients who have been injured by Covid “vaccines.”

c) How do you ‘lose’ 24 billion dollars? A new Oxfam report shows that over six years, $24,000 million dollars (at least) has probably gone missing off the balance sheets, but it could be as much as $41 billion.

d) JD Vance: Kamala Harris said you’re at the wrong rally. Well, if you think Jesus is Lord, you’re at the right rally.”

Saturday [1 to 4]

(0353) Let’s go. (0524)

4. Andy flashback two years

”Move along there, you’re having far too much fun. Tuba Skinny confronted by police in New Orleans.”

You remember it at the time? Just coming out of the plandemic horrors, performing seals, standing on spots in supermarkets, 6 feet apart, never 5’10” … care home deaths etc. Then this, where bands had at least for a decade performed on Royal Street … wtaf? New Orleans cultural icons … grrrrr.

3. Steve drops at 855 … selections

MftWC 4: Dirty Mitch McConnell Attacks Trump and Rick Scott 2 Weeks Out from Election – Refused to Fund Scott, Kari Lake and Ted Cruz but Blew Millions on RINO Larry Hogan’s Losing Campaign

MftWC 3: Mayhem at Washington Post After Bezos Kills Harris Endorsement – Staff Threatening to Quit and Denounce Company

MftWC 2: Russian Lancet Destroyed German IRIS-T System Deep In Ukrainian Rear

MftWC 1: New version of “hate speech bill” is rushed through Irish parliament; it excludes “speech” but includes a new crime of “aggravated by hatred”

2. Billy loves Kari! Billy loves Kari! Nyaa nyaa nyaa!

Did you catch his throwaway comment, Clinton, on Kari Lake being a looker, a good sort? She remarked in one of her campaign speeches that she was probably a bit old for Billy … didn’t he prefer interns?

1. Rogan

Had a quick look through the interview … thing which came through to me was that it helps if the leader or the person you want achieving something has this element in the head of “couldn’t care less nutter”.

You remember the Sherlock Holmes eccentricity and someone said thank goodness he fights for good (as we might define it in eternal terms) … it does need that sort of person … today they might call it sigma … he’s flawed, too human in a way … that’s true.

So while there’s a screw loose, as Trump describes Bolton … it’s a case of what fruits result from that tree … look at Bolton … wars … Mattis, Kelly M.I.C. … there’s something necessary in having someone who’s eccentric and unpredictable … G Gordon Liddy was that but he was also willing to do highly dangerous things for the “gung ho”.

The ones you want are that ledger balance being for “good” … also usually hard workers, two speeds, stop and go … quite the untrusting loner … such that the observer (you, me), in order to decide on him, must look at the track record overall, how positions developed and why … esp. what his bottom lines are, his red lines? That’s where the confidence comes from in the observer … or not.

Many times I’ve written that in the final analysis, we’re only our track record and our positions on this policy or that. The Jewish-Arab thing is a perfect case .. what if your chief loyalty, after God, is your own country? So you judge behaviour according to eternal verities first, then to what’s best for your nation, your area, your family, friends, ultimately you … but not if it destroys other “good” people … everything’s a balance of positions developed over decades.

Friday [17 till close of play]

(1759) Evening all, getting dark.

20. TR remanded

“TR has been remanded into prison for a breach of the terrorism act – because he refused to give police the code to gain access to his phone. It is worth noting that T held information of child rape victims on his phone, which he told the police at the time, and as they are ‘confidential journalistic sources’ they had no right to snoop or gain information about them. T has a duty of care to ALL of his sources, as does any other journalist.”

Obviously the info he has on the miscreants is their worry … not a good look, is it?

17. Summary of 854 across the way

DAD, Andy and Steve have dropped drops. DAD’s and Andy’s can be read and clicked on, my X post did expand, then went to link … it was just a fun thing of elephants crossing the road.

Two of Steve’s can’t be accessed for non Xers … DJT saying he thinks they’ll win, Obama below brings in Ep****n Is … they’re worried.

The one I need to concentrate on is the R*m**e which has a long MSNBC opener, then some chap who’s been down to a Mexican town and he reports that a deal was struck with Biden and the Mex Pres a year ago that the latter would be paid billions to hold back border crossings in a election year … Mex Pres has done this … police/troops wall.

Behind that wall, across all the towns down there, are hundreds of thousands of il**g**s waiting to pour across the day after the election. Put that with Harris flooding the Supreme Court, plus all the rest of it and it’s not good. The mood of those il**g**s is desperation to get across the borderline before any fences etc. can stop them … I’d say making ICE’s job impossible.

Of course, not just il**g**s but drugs, cartels, gangs, trafficked chn … all of it, as in the Ukraine. In other words, they’re going to make the USA completely ungovernable for DJT. Naturally, this is out and out treason, the killing of the USA as a nation … Demonrats would also accept breakup into blocks … red and blue.

So win or lose, the result is the same on the ground. Rinse and repeat in Britain with the Unmentionable Creep. Similar to the barbarians sacking Rome.

Try these

  1. On what did landau bars originate?
  2. Another word using only the letters of “listen”?
  3. Who is he? Wears a mask and stops people getting home.
  4. Palindrome for race car?
  5. 1st letter, 3 letter verb, moved to end => its past tense?
  6. Give an example of a phrasal verb.
  7. What are duxelles, as applied to prissy restaurant dishes?

Friday [14 to 16]

(0200) Cunning plan did not include this post, quiz at 1500.

16. The interest here is not so much in what it says

… those on our side of the ledger already know … but that it was in the left-liberal Quora:

15. Bobbie and a very special coin

14. Andy at 854 and the religious fervour of local councils

Friday [10 to 13]

(1104) Cunning plan will be this post now, Ladies at Lunchtime around 1230, a quiz around 1530 … no film most like. (1139)

13. TCW (blogrolls)

12. It seems some had fog earlier on

YWW was kind enough to allow this:

I replied:

11. There are trigger words here too

How can I put this yet again? The relevant words are not post text.

10. The ongoing problem of trigger words

If DAD would just look at this:

There are therefore keywords and key footage which are verboten to the algorithm, which then blacklists me as the admin and if it goes on, it results in an ONO 18th bday situation, which I need to avoid on behalf of all Unherdables here.

The way around it is this thing called euphemism or cryptic codewords … and in the case of footage … don’t run it at the site itself but point elsewhere to see it. All our readers are seeing this now and noting it.

In my own case, I have more room to move, in that I can use screenshots as I’ll do shortly. Bottom line is that certain trigger words Them are hypersensitive to right now … all right, we shall use euphemisms instead, as cryptic as necessary. As for footage, some links will be blocked by the algorithm … no point us being Don Quixote, tilting at windmills as it just creates aggro for me, the admin, meaning the site itself, meaning our readers as a whole. In short, we lose the site.
